Selecting photos for your charms:

• Any size photo up to 8 x 10 can be used. You may send a colored or black and white photo. All pictures will be transferred to black and white.
• I will crop all photos around the face unless otherwise noted.
• Pictures with good lighting, simple backgrounds, clearly focused, and without hats or glasses will produce clearer looking charms.
• I will try to bring faces that are farther apart closer together and remove unsightly backgrounds to improve the look of your final product if necessary.
• If it is hard to find a picture with all subjects together, we can merge photos together. Just indicate which faces from each picture should be moved together when ordering.
• We will contact you if your photo is not appropriate for your charm.
  

Treatment of photos:

• The photos are printed on waterproof paper with archival inks that will last for many years to come.
• The photos can be inter-changed over time for an additional fee.
  

Care for your charms:

• Although your photos are protected, it is not recommended to fully submerge your jewelry. To be safe, remove your jewelry before showering or swimming.
• CLEANING: Silver is a soft metal and scratches easily. The best way to remove tarnish is with a silver polishing cloth.
• STORING: When you wear your jewelry regularly, your body oils help to keep the tarnishing down. When storing, it is recommended that you keep the charms in a plastic zip lock bag. Avoid storing on wood surfaces or with other metals.
